BFBC2 Server

Servers full all afternoon. Hope you guys figure it out as I am wanting to play and level up before you get here. LOL

Well so far all I see is campers and snipers and not being able to change the E to my keyboard makes it very hard for me to play the game. I know its only been 1 hr into the game. Maybe next time I will be able to play on our server, but so far this game is not the game I have been waiting for.

I got to play in SB and it was pretty awesome. I sniped you once Bandit lol. An hour or so in and the game sort of froze, everyone froze although the menu interface still worked. Then it kicked me back to the main menu. Still I think the game is great.

I was only in the server about 1 min playing with the options. Then I got kicked. I just see a lot of people trying to hide out.
Maybe the more I play the better it will be.

The server was patched last night with server version R4. Here is the patch note:

Server version R4 was released this morning by DICE to fix a single problem: The server kicking certain clients when they connect.

Beast if you are still having problems controlling the game, i would suggest finding an empty server and going into it. Then you can spend all the time you want in there, alone, and setup all your settings. It is difficult to try and setup your controls in a full server.

I cannot join our server I have tried many times last night and again today no luck. Other server I can do this not all but some. I have all settings working now. Good to go. Will the game update itself when you log in?

Make sure you run PBsetup and update your punkbuster (be sure to add BC2 to the game list). The game does have a patch, so if your game hasnt ever patched, go into the BFBC2 folder and look for the BFBC2 updater (or something like that). Run this program as administrator if you have Win7. After you have updated all of that, let me know if you can enter the server. Also, if you have Win7, run the BFBC2 game as administrator at all times.

I don't know how to patch and run as the administrator? folder? sorry don't know.

I did the updater and PB still can't save to favorite. save to others not ours. I played a while didn't even show on server history

Patience. All of these bugs we are experiencing are known issues and being worked on. It will all be fixed eventually.

To run as administrator - right click on game icon > run as administrator.

To permanently run as administrator (which is what i do) - right click on game icon > properties > Compatibility Tab > at the bottom check run this program as administrator > apply > OK
